Thanksgiving Wreath

Pine Bough Thanksgiving Wreath Card

By Guest Blogger Margie Higuchi

November 2016

I am excited to share another project as guest blogger for My Treasured Kutz, a line of detailed dies to use in your manual die cutting and embossing machine. Using Pine Bough and 3D Miniature Posie Flower, I wanted to create a dimensional wreath with sweet flower accents as a Thanksgiving card.

After laying out the design, I adhered each long spine of the bough with Dual Tip Pen on a 4⅜ x 4⅜" panel. This is base and I will add on another layer of bough for dimension.

Adhere the panel with Crafty Foam Tape on top of your 6 x 6" card base (with a 5⅛ x 5⅛" card panel on top).

Roll three 3D Miniature Posie Flower using the quilling tool and adhere with Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium. Tie an organza bow and secure on the bottom of wreath with adhesive dots. Then add the Posie Flowers with the same adhesive dots.
Supplies:
My Treasured Kutz: Pine Bough, 3D Miniature Posie Flower and Quilling Tool
Textured Ribbons: Donna Salazar with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®
Paper: Graphic 45 (Safari Adventures Collection)
Adhesives: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® (E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser, Crafty Foam Tape, Home Hobby Dual Tip Glue Pen and Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium)

I hope I inspired you all with my second tutorial! Stay tuned for another project that has a sweet twist to the holiday season.

Thanks for stopping by!
